Unfilled Flame-Retardant Grades

Grades are available in both homopolymer and copolymer versions, with halogen-free flame-retardant systems achieving UL 94 classifications from V2 through to V0 at thicknesses as low as 0.8 mm. Selected unfilled grades also offer excellent glow wire performance, with GWIT ratings of 775 at low wall thicknesses. Extrusion grades are also available for corrugated pipes and profiles.
Glass Fibre Reinforced Grades
For applications requiring greater rigidity and thermal resistance, Vamplen offers glass fibre reinforced grades with loadings from 10% to 30%. These compounds use chemically bonded glass fibre for improved fibre-to-matrix adhesion, resulting in enhanced mechanical properties and better dimensional stability compared to standard filled polypropylene. Flame-retardant and thermostabilised options are available, with UL 94 V0 classification achievable at 0.8 mm in selected grades.
Mineral-Filled Grades
Vamplen's mineral-filled compounds provide improved dimensional stability, good surface finish, and enhanced electrical properties. Available with mineral loadings from 10% to 25% in both homopolymer and copolymer versions, these grades are well suited to applications where tight tolerances and consistent part quality are important. Flame-retardant mineral-filled grades are available with UL 94 classifications up to V0.
